OBJECTS
| This is 32 objects which are found in the area closest to the underground station Telefonplan, Stockholm. I have collected things which have caught my attention, where the shape, the colour or the question of what I have in front of me have been important.
The area around Telefonplan consists of block of flats which was built in the early 40´s for the workers at Ericsson factory and a large amount of small houses. Here you can find a post office, banks, grocery stores, a cinema, a drug store, restaurants and a library. Not far away the E4 passes and close to it there is a MacDonalds, which is open all ours. I have lived in the area since 1996 and it has become my home. This project started when I left Stockholm temporarily for studies Göteborg. The work has been exhibited at Gallery Konstepidemin, Göteborg, May 1999 and at Midsommargården, Stockholm, March - May 2000. |
