| THE LONGYEARBYEN CLOTHES-PEG (Klädnypan från Longyearbyen) is a blue clothes-peg which I found along the road in Longyearbyen, Svalbard, September 2004. A finding where I immediately saw a connection to the bower I photographed in Sydney in 2003 (These objects have been removed #1). The work consists of the clothes-peg, photographs, facts and a map showing the site of the find. I would like to present this object at Natural- and Cultural museums. The presentation will be in a traditional museum way, with the clothes-peg in a show case. Taken out of its context the clothes-peg takes different shapes, an insect or an archaeological find, depending on in which context it is presented.
