During some years I have collected postcards from the 60s and 70s. Some time ago I started to look at them closely, through a magnifier. I found people in these postcards that are not aware of that they are being photographed. By scanning these postcards and enlarge the part where the person is, I have rediscovered moments that took place many years ago. I take this moment, this person and bring them out from the postcard, enlarge them and focus on the people, not the place that the postcard describes. The picture is slightly digitally altered and has gone through a transformation from an
unknown photographer’s camera, printed as a postcard, via a flatbed-scanner, and finally printed as a photograph.
